What's Happening With Those Sea Shell Sunglasses? | Production & Delivery
Your support from our fist campaign was outstanding. “The Most Luxurious Polarized Sunglasses Ever Made” and “The Perfect Combination of Land and Sea” sung the press. Now we're back ️➡
🙏 We believe the world is spontaneous and filled with experiences and adventures that come with both freedom and responsibility.
🚀 The next generation of sunglasses is here. The sickest shades on the planet, for the planet. Supporting our Keep It Clean Project we bring you the new V2 See Shells series.
With that all said, we have some updates for you!
Let’s go from bad news to great news.
BAD: Covid-19 has proven to make even more complications setting back out production schedule once again.
GOOD: That being said, we are almost done with the production of your one of a kind sunnies! They should be done in two weeks at which time we will be shipping them out.
GREAT: As part of our sustainable efforts, we evaluate every material that goes into our sunglasses. We even track environmental impact of production methods. We found the color added recycled plastic for the large frame (small frame is over 90% reused) glasses marked “recycled plastic” from the vendor was in fact only 20% reused material. This was not up to our standards or our commitment to offering truly sustainable facewear, so we went back to the drawing board. With a design overhaul, we ended up with a stunning 100% wood frame (front and temples). Though this is much more costly, we decided it is ultimately the right thing to do, and they came out Stunning!!!
BEST: We have teamed up with the Keep Okoboji Blue foundation to organize beach cleanups around the Okoboji lakes where sBOJI originated. Be on the lookout for emails about the events where we will be giving volunteers a customs floating bamboo frame though our collaboration with Keep Okoboji Blue collaboration.
Thank you for your continued support and patience. They will be sitting on your face soon! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
